According to Sherif Mark Davis, late last night, Deputies with the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office executed a Search Warrant at 915 West Deer Street in Kountze. Deputies seized almost two ounces of methamphetamine along with three firearms, one of which had been reported stolen from Montgomery County, Texas. Two white males were arrested in connection with this raid.
Daniel Joseph Gannon, 31 from Kountze, was charged with Felony One Manufacture/Delivery of Controlled Substance, Theft by Possession of a Stolen Firearm and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. He has been released from the Hardin County Jail after posting total bonds of $80,000.00
Jason Scott Spell, 45 of Kountze, was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and also charged with an outstanding arrest warrant from Orange County Sheriff’s Office for Criminal Non-Support. He is being held in the Hardin County Jail under bonds totaling $ 8,900.00
Participating agencies include the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office, Kountze Police Department, Lumberton Police Department, Hardin County Constable Pct. 6 Office and the Texas Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol.
