Some graphic and disturbing pictures of an illegal dogfighting ring were received by the Lumberton Ledger on Sunday afternoon, August 2nd.
According to the Hardin County Sheriff Mark Davis, their office “is aware and have received numerous tips” stemming from the dogfight.
The photos were posted on a Snapchat public post without attribution other than locating the post just south of Kountze off Shadow Drive.
In a press release from the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office, Sheriff Mark Davis stated, “Investigators continue to gather evidence as it relates to this criminal activity. This is a cooperative effort between local prosecutors, area law enforcement agencies and the ASPCA.”
