On Wednesday morning, around 7:30 a.m., it was reported that two acquaintances got into a dispute regarding money. When the man in his vehicle began reaching under the seat, the other man stabbed him in the neck, according to Kountze police.
It appears that the injuries were non-life threatening and it is unknown if the injured man was transported by EMS for medical care.
The 68-year-old suspect was on his way to turn himself in when he was apprehended by Kountze police.
At this time, he is being held at Hardin County jail awaiting arraignment.
