Shoppers Line up for Black Friday and Small Business Saturday
November 30, 2016

A line of shoppers lined up at the door of Lumberton boutique Two Chix around 5:45 a.m. to be the first to snag Black Friday deals. Owner, Kim McDonald says the shop did better this year than last. Two Chix offered the first ten customers 50% off their purchase and had other big deals throughout the store. McDonald says they had a good sale for Small Business Saturday as well. With a 75% off rack and mens’ shirts on sale for $20, the shoppers continued to pour in on Saturday.
Another local boutique, All About You opened at 8 a.m. on Black Friday and had a line of shoppers all the way down to Smoothie King waiting for the shop to open. They offered customers doorbusters and deals such as Brighton handbags at a 50% discount. On Saturday, the first several customers received a $10 discount card and merchandise was discounted by 25%.
