This movement began in 1990 with ten students in Burleson, TX who gathered together to pray at their school. The teenagers were attending a DiscipleNow weekend and felt compelled to go to three different schools to pray for the schools, leaders, and friends. Later on, their vision was introduced to 20,000 students at Reunion Arena in Dallas.
A few months later, more than 45,000 students met at flag poles at schools in four different states to pray. Now there are millions of students around the world, who gather together at their school’s flag pole to pray on that particular day. Lumberton ISD was one of the many school districts in Texas that offered students an opportunity to participate in See You at the Pole on Wednesday, September 28.
