There was a joint effort between the Hardin County Sheriffs Office and the Silsbee PD as they served a no-knock search warrant at a known drug house in Silsbee, Texas which happened to be in a school zone. The home was located on the corner of Avenue M and 9th Street, across from a neighborhood park. Three suspects were arrested and an 8-year-old child was placed in CPS (Child Protective Custody) care. A total of three people were arrested in the home. According to Sgt Mark Vincent, "Crack and powder cocaine, meth, a total of four twenty dollar counterfeit bills and $549 in cash were confiscated in the home."
1st Suspect - Lendall L. Tyler, DOB 8-4-1989, is charged with manufacture and delivery, a penalty group 1, for more than 4 but less than 200 grams in a gun free zone. A 1st degree felony for methamphetamine. The second charge is the same as the first, but for cocaine. The third charge was for abandoning or endangering a child, which is a state jail felony. He was arraigned by Judge Brewer for $250,000 on each charge. Bringing the total to $750,000.
Tayler also had an active speeding warrant.
Quanithedral Colman, DOB 3-16-1989, was charged with the same offenses as Tyler, with an additional active arrest warrant for drug paraphernalia and no Drivers License.
The 3rd suspect arrested, Mark A. Griffis, DOB 8-10-1974 was charged with possession of a controlled stubstance which is a penalty group 1 for less than 1 g which is a third-degree felony. His bond was set for $100,000.
